Dear All,

As per the note below from the Chairman, please note that the entry deadline for the Club Championships is being held open for a few more days to allow for more entries.  So if you have not already entered, please consider doing so asap (by Friday 25th October at the latest).  You can find and complete the form and pay at the registration desk on Thursday evening or at the College pool on Friday evening.

Events are spread across 5 galas, the first takes place on Saturday 8th November and the other dates are Monday 10th, Thursday 20th, Sat 22nd and Thursday 27th November.  For more details - find the form at the registration desk - sorry I can’t attach it here!

Please consider that the Club Championships are the highlight of the swimming year.  Your participation is enjoyed and appreciated by the many volunteers (poolside and dry side) and especially by Mr Crook!

This year’s AGM will take place on Wednesday 12th November (venue tba).

Wednesday the 12th of November is the date to keep free if you would like to attend the Annual General Meeting for Marlborough Penguins.  Making a club like Marlborough a success takes volunteers and group participation.  New ideas and enthusiasm is also welcome so come along and join a committee if you are so inclined.

It is not too late if you have forgotten to get your entry submitted for the Club Championships.  The closing date was the 18th of October however if you are quick and get your entry in ASAP - it will be okay.

A superb summer League season has come to a close for Marlborough Penguins with both the ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams winning their respective divisions by huge margins. Excellent individual swims and great team spirit has allowed the teams to achieve this momentous promotion double.
